Being on camera has become integral to how we all do business. Whether you’re creating online content, in a meeting, or putting together a webinar or online event, being on camera is unavoidable. But learning how to present well on camera is an art form. The good news is we’ve compiled a few resources to help you look your best for your next video. Appearance Dos and Dont’s

  • Avoid tight patterns. Pinstripe and herringbone patterns can cause a moiré effect that creates strobing and can’t be adjusted on camera or post-production.
  • Avoid solid white clothing. White reflects a great deal of light and can cause the camera to wash out your video; in effect, you will look overexposed.
  • Be aware of the color of your webcam background. Wear a contrasting color so that you don’t blend in with the background.
